Wrexham’s Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney laugh at X-rated reply from Notts County fan

Wrexham’s Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took to laugh at an X-rated reply from a Notts County fan, featured in the documentary.

The club’s owners cried with laughter with the @NottsCountyZone getting a feature in the latest episode of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’.

A video of the moment was recorded and uploaded by @NottsCountyZone, who responded to seeing the message had made it into the doc: “Incredible 😭😭😭”

Reynolds explained in the clip: “The producers sent the sweetest: ‘Hey we would like to interview Notts, you guys are having an amazing season.’

“And the response is so good. It’s so great.”

McElhenney then proceeds to show a text message from the Notts County Supporters Group which reads: “‘No. Shove your s**** documentary up your a***.’”

This in turn leaves McElhenney proclaiming to ‘love’ the message sent with he and Reynolds quite clearly left in hysterics.

Things got very tasty between Wrexham and Notts County in last season’s National League title battle, with the Welsh outfit being the ones to come out on top and secure automatic promotion by just four points.

It went down to the closing stages with Wrexham winning 3-2 against Notts County, with huge thanks to the stoppage-time save of Ben Foster.

Luckily for Notts County fans, after a brief scare early in the playoffs, they also went on to win promotion to League Two, beating this season’s promotion favourites Chesterfield at Wembley.

Wrexham and Notts County go head to head again in League Two on the 28th of October.

Wrexham currently sit 7th in the table with 15 points from 9 games played, but have scored and conceded both 20 times. Notts County are flying high at the top, with 20 points from 9 games, scoring 19 and conceded 14.
