Wolves bite back in hilarious style to Nottingham Forest’s bizarre now-deleted tweet after winning on Saturday afternoon.
Forest, who remain bottom of the table, made the odd decision to post an image of striker Emmanuel Dennis with some baby Wolves pre-match.
The photoshopped image came with the caption ‘Playtime’ but it was quickly deleted when it was clear Forest were heading for defeat.

Wolves let had some fun with it, especially after seeing so much reaction to Forest’s tweet.
So come the full time whistle, issue their own tweet, of a tree being chopped down, along with the scoreline and was captioned ‘Playtime’s over.’
Jose Sa saved Brennan Johnson’s penalty to help Wolves secure a 1-0 home victory over Nottingham Forest after Ruben Neves netted from the spot to lift them out of the Premier League relegation zone.

The managerless West Midlands outfit were awarded a penalty in the 55th minute after a lengthy VAR review saw referee Thomas Bramall point to the spot for Harry Toffolo’s handball from Adama Traore’s shot.
Neves then stepped up to score Wolves’ fourth goal of the Premier League campaign and their first in a second half this season.
Forest had a good opportunity to equalise 20 minutes later when another VAR review saw referee Bramall penalise Matheus Nunes for pulling back Ryan Yates at a corner.
But goalkeeper Sa, who has been playing with a broken wrist since the second game of the season, denied Johnson and gave Wolves interim boss Steve Davis his first win in charge that moves them two points above the bottom three.
Forest meanwhile sit bottom of the table and are without a league win since mid-August.

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper speaking to BBC’s Match of the Day: “Obviously I am disappointed with the result. I liked us without the ball in the first half but not without it.
“We had our moments in the first half and the message at half-time was to keep going in terms of the stuff without the ball as I couldn’t see us conceding.
“Unfortunately, it took us going behind to get going with the ball.
“We got the penalty, but that has not gone our way.
“In the end need, though, we need to do better with the ball.
“With the way we train and play, we always have a good idea what we want to do with the ball, but for large parts of the game, especially in the first half, we just didn’t do that.
“That’s disappointing. We know we have to be a better defending unit, but when we do get the ball, you have to do better at this level.”
🗣️ “When you lose it’s always hard to take.”

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper on the refereeing to Match of the Day: “Big issue with the first one but I’m not going to talk about it. We know the referee well from last year but that’s enough said.
“It is fine margins in this league no doubt about that but I’m more focused on our possession play in the first half. Everyone knows we’re trying to find a way of playing, find the best team, and like I said previously it’s a difficult coaching challenge.
“I’m not going to look too much at what didn’t go our way with the officials, we half expected that because of who was reffing.”
Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves to Premier League Productions: “We spoke about it being a difficult start all week, we knew the importance. We had a fantastic first half, Nottingham just tried to slow down the game. We had a lot of chances in the first half. Second half we played really well again, we scored.
“We conceded a penalty in the set play, we were struggling after the set play because we wanted to keep the ball. But Jose Sa is a fantastic goalkeeper, he showed it last season, he’s showing it again, importantly he saved a really important penalty for us.”
On how he set himself up for his penalty: “I Just thought about myself. I know if I do it well it’s really hard for the goalkeeper. That’s why I try to shoot with a bit more power because I know he’s a really good goalkeeper with penalties.”
