The wife of a Premier League player dumps him after the Ring doorbell reportedly shows him sneaking a woman into the family home.
MailOnline, who this week have decided to not name him, but instead described him as an ‘top’ ‘international footballer’ and ‘a household name’ was kicked out after his wife was sent a photo on Instagram of him in the marital bed. The message read: ‘I slept with your husband.’
His wife had been on holiday at the time with their young children, then checked the family Ring app, only to discover a video of her footie husband returning home with the female.
Below, the Daily Mail have posted a pixelated photo which had previously already done the rounds on social media back in 2023, leading to fans suggesting they already know who this footballer is…

A source said: ‘The wife was totally shocked and heartbroken because nothing can prepare you for something like this.’
Daily Mail report that he tried to assure her that the photo she received was fake, but now the doubts are raised, she doesn’t fully believe what he’s saying.
The source continued to say: ‘When she saw the doorbell video camera footage she knew there and then what the truth was.
‘There’s no going back from that and it meant the end of the marriage.’
MailOnline add while they are “not naming” who he is, he “was recently part of the squad for his country at the Euros with some of his teammates even joking about how the end of his marriage came about.”
The source added: ‘All the players knew about it and so did a lot of their families because everyone was talking about it in Germany. Some of the players nicknamed him “Ringo” and were calling him that behind his back.
‘But it’s no joke because this whole thing has caused a lot of heartache and the breakup of a family.’
The blurred out picture, which is the same as you see above that went viral last year, shows two people whose faces not visible in the footballer and his wife’s bed with the mystery woman, with a picture on the wall showing him, his wife and children in the background.
The wife was reportedly furious, tried to get answers from him, he said he didn’t do it and the picture was edited, and while she at first believed what he was saying, now she isn’t so sure, so got a detective involved upon returning back to the mansion, saw the Ring doorbell, her worst fears were true having seen the footage of him bringing in other woman into the property.
The same woman in the Ring doorbell footage was the one who had sent a photo to the wife via Instagram.
The source added: ‘They were very happily married for a number of years. She’s a high-profile WAG and he’s one of the most recognisable faces in the Premier League. It’s quite shocking how the end of their marriage came about.’
