CLUB STATEMENT:
Ahead of our historic inaugural season, Macclesfield FC are delighted to unveil our adidas 2021/22 home kit which is sponsored by the prestigious boohooMAN.
Aesthetically stunning and draped in history, the kit will undoubtedly become iconic as we unite together on a journey which will encapsulate us all.
Made with adidas AEROREADY technology which keeps you cool and dry, the kit embodies Primegreen materials which supports adidas’ commitment to phase out all virgin polyester by 2024.
Mesh side panels ensure breathability, whilst adidas’ distinctive three stripes are dramatically taped on both sleeves with mesh overlay.
Our striking logo has also been given the respect that it deserves. Stitched in satin with meticulous silicone detailing ensures that the crest takes it’s rightful place right at the very heart of the design.
But this is not just a kit – this is a statement which inspires each and every one of us for the battles ahead.
This is not just a shirt. This is a symbol which exemplifies our passion, our defiance, our sense of belonging and our collective identity – it is a visual representation of who we are and all we stand for.
This is not just a Club;
“This Is Our Town. This Is Our Club.”

– STATEMENT ENDS –
As well as Macclesfield choosing to reveal their new kit, there are some stadium changes with old seating in the stands taken out and replaced with a slightly darker shade of blue, with MFC in white after a change up from MTFC.
They wrote: “The final seat was fitted into our Moss Lane Stand earlier today (March 20), as our renovation work continues at pace. We think that the new seats look amazing and can’t wait to be able to welcome all our loyal fans back home very soon!”

The club are getting prepared reading to get back into action after local businessman Robert Smethurst purchased the assets of the wound-up Macclesfield Town in October 2020.
“Over the coming years, our main aim is to move up through the leagues,” Smethurst said.
“I am passionate about building a secure business model and strong commercial foundation so the past issues the club has experienced will not happen again.
“The key focus is and will always continue to be football, the fans and the community. Without the support of the fans, the associated ticket sales and hospitality; the club will find it hard to progress through any leagues despite any financial backing it receives.”
“I was devastated to see what happened here at Macclesfield. A club steeped in history and worth more than any value in money to locals,” added Savage, who played for Smethurst’s Stockport Town last season.
“I live within a stone’s throw from the ground and have integral links to the club as a local grassroots coach, a father who brings his sons here to spectate and a footballing professional who campaigns and lobbies for lower tier football clubs, who are the foundation of the game.”
