Wealdstone slammed for leaving changing rooms at Concord Rangers in ‘shocking’ state

Wealdstone were slammed last night after they left the changing rooms at hosts Concord Rangers in a ‘shocking’ state.

It is often that we see many non league clubs thanking their visitors for doing a great job cleaning up and leaving it in spectacular conditions, however in pictures that can be seen below, Concord weren’t happy with how theirs were looking.

They tweeted after the game: “Hi @wealdstonefc,

“You left your bananas and lots of other rubbish behind in our changing rooms today.

“We’re open until late tonight if you’d like to come back and collect YOUR belongings.

“Give us a buzz

“Ta.”

The tweet went on to receive over 600 likes, was retweeted nearly 300 times and got plenty of response from the non league community.

Wealdstone booked a place for the First Round of the FA Trophy, beating Concord 3-2.

Jerome Okimo found the net after 14 minutes when he headed in from a cross before Fumnaya Shomotun doubled the lead not long after.

After a few missed chances, Wealdstone found themselves 3-0 after 63 minutes.

Concord got one back when Lee Minshull poked his effort home inside the box, then Alex Wall really got back into the game making it 3-2 with around 20 minutes left on the clock.

A few efforts saved and missed for both sides in the time remaining kept the scoreline as it was.

After Concord Rangers posted a photo of the mess Wealdstone left in the changing rooms, football fans took to reveal their shocked and vent their anger at the club – take a look at those tweets on the next page.
