Everton boss Marco Silva has been trolled during tonight’s Premier League clash as fans of his former club Watford brought along and held up inflatable snakes.
Travelling Watford, who were given a £10 food/drinks voucher by their club for making the 400 mile round trip to Goodison Park, cheekily sneaked in the inflatables in protest at Silva who was sacked by the Hornets in January.
The Toffees manager was in charge of Watford this time last year, however Everton approached him after they had sacked Ronald Koeman and that is when the Hornet’s form started to drop.
Despite Watford rejecting the approach, they ended up sacking him due to an ‘unwarranted approach by a Premier League rival’ that caused “significant deterioration in both focus and results’.
Four months after getting the axe, he was brought in by the Merseyside club, leading Watford fans to turn on him and taunt him with the inflatables and calling him a snake.
Take a look at that ‘snake protest’ from the travelling fans below…

15 minutes into the game, Richarlison broke the deadlock, scoring against former club although it was a controversial goal after Theo Walcott appeared to be offside in the build-up.
However a remarkable five minutes in the second half saw Watford score twice in two minutes to turn the scoreline from 1-0 down to 2-1 up.
Watford equalised when Roberto Pereyra’s shot hit the post before deflecting in off Everton’s Seamus Coleman and into the net, then Abdoulaye Doucoure rose highest to head the ball into the back of the net.
The drama didn’t stop there as Everton then received a penalty two minutes later when Christian Kabasele shoves over Yerry Mina in the box.
Gylfi Sigurdsson hit it straight down the middle but Ben Foster, who dived to his right, kept the ball from going in with his feet.
It looked as though Watford were about to snatch all three points, but in the six minutes of added time, Lucas Digne hit a curling free-kick into the corner to seal a draw.
