Warrington Rylands ‘pull off a stunning capture’ with player Jak McCourt dropping two divisions after guiding Chesterfield to the playoffs.
The Spireites confirmed on June 20th that following negotiations with the 26 year old, the two parties have been unable to reach an agreement over a new contract.
It’s thought that the new deal would be on reduced terms, however the midfielder opted to turn it down and left as a free agent.
He therefore left the club following the expiry of his contract and it ready for life in the Northern Premier League after his new side were crowned champions of the NPL West Division for 2021/22 and they won the FA Vase at Wembley in 2021.

@3SE_FOOTBALL: ‘Signing of intent’ as they say. Intent on promotion.
@LRbix: Are you becoming the next Macclesfield or Wrexham?
@ForeverAYellow: oh here we go, yet another person moaning at a club for doing what every other fans of other clubs wanting their own club to do in spending money in order to do well and get out a league. that’s literally how it works in every sport. if you have the money, why wouldn’t you use it? Want to win promotion, buy better players, simple. Yet for some reason clubs like these get slammed. Bet @LRbix wouldn’t complain if his supported club did it.
