International football is back, tonight it’s the friendly against Wales and Trinidad & Tobago, many Premier League and some English Football League players have been called up.
Ryan Giggs’ side will be without Aaron Ramsey, Tom Lawrence, Sam Vokes and Ethan Ampadu all due to injuries. Daniel James, James Lawrence and David Brooks all set feature.
The game will kick off at 7:45pm and can be watched live on S4C, Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event.
Giggs said at a press conference prior to the game: “Players are at different stages so some players need games, some don’t,” said Giggs.
“It’s a good opportunity with the friendly fixture that we can do that (mix up selection). We’ll just have to see as we go along in the game.
“Going back to why I wanted to play the game here (in Wrexham), it’s a friendly and I wanted a full house which it looks like we’re going to get rather than having a potentially half empty stadium.
“And it’s a thank you to the fans in the north aswell. They’ve got a game on their doorstep which doesn’t happen very often.”
