Whitby Town’s Jimmy Beadle has gone viral on social media after his misdirected shot broke a nearby house window.
Beadle’s effort from 30 yards went high and wide of the goal, and instead smashed into the window of the house behind the Warrington Town keeper’s goal.

If you don’t shoot, you don’t score. You also don’t smash windows! pic.twitter.com/NZi27vjBKj

The footage was seen by Sky Sports’ Soccer AM and they then decided to show what had happened to their followers…
When your shot is so bad that it breaks someone’s window ??? pic.twitter.com/M6lFm4g3mf

It received over 75,000 views and was ‘liked’ more than 1,000 times.
Whitby Town media and communications manager Paul Connolly spoke to the Whitby Gazette: “I don’t think the first thing that will have gone through Jimmy’s head when he lined that shot up was, “this will end up on Soccer AM”.
“We certainly didn’t think it either, but then again we didn’t think that we’d be hearing a window smash on North Promenade.
“We knew it was off target, but not that far off.”
Whitby Town went on to lose the match 1-0 against Warrington.
After seeing the video of Beadle’s misjudged shot, friends and fans took to Twitter to mock the player’s effort – check out that reaction on the next page.
