West Ham fans took to sing a chant about Kurt Zouma and in the same footage decided to kick an inflatable cat around a pub pre-match.
Hammers fans are rather divided whether to back the footballer or not, and with his abusive actions still in the minds of everyone this week, they decided to chanting their defender’s name in a bar ahead of their game on Sunday.
On Monday night, a video of Zouma abusing his pet cat by kicking and slapping it in front of his young child, went viral on social media after it was uploaded on Snapchat by his brother, who is a footballer for Dagenham and Redbridge.
There was wide condemnation by supporters and even West Ham criticised the player, but just hours after their statement, manager David Moyes puzzled everyone by starting the centre back against Watford.

Despite general criticism for the world of football, and the fact that Zouma and West Ham have both lost sponsors in the past week, some Hammers fans have started to support the French defender.
The East London outfit are hoping to finish inside the top four in the Premier League this season, and got a good chance of strengthening that by playing against an out of form Leicester.
A sudden twist in the warm up of the game meant that Zouma wouldn’t be starting after picking up an ‘injury’, however the initial selection by Moyes showed the boss had been defending his decision to play him because he deems him to be one of his best players.
Seems Zouma felt unwell in the warm-up and is now out of the starting line up. That’s put the cat amongst the pigeons.
