The fans’ clip starts off with him asking if he can get through to the matchday ticket line before finding out by the man on the receiving end that it’s closed.

The caller then was wondering about renewing his season ticket, but find out that they are able to be talked about when they ‘re-open tomorrow’.

He then asks Forest Green about wanting to get tickets for the final at Wembley, then gets told “we won’t be selling them as we are not in the final”.

The Tranmere fan then says, “Sorry?” before getting told again that Forest Green are not in it, then the lads who called in and were listening in went into chant mode down the phone singing “Super White Army!” on repeat.

Tranmere manager Mickey Mellon said on the result to the media: “It’s an unbelievable goal, an absolute cracker.

“It’s a great little move and a good little knockdown and he’s just concentrated on the contact, making sure he hit the target and burying it in the bottom corner for a fabulous goal.”

“It’s fantastic that we get to go to the last stage of the play-offs.

“We will enjoy this evening because you have to enjoy getting to Wembley – it’s everyone’s dream to get there – but we have to get ready to go again.

“It’s a fantastic achievement for us but we need to go and seal the deal now and that’s what we will work very hard to do.”

As mentioned there was plenty of comments on Facebook, users of the Tranmere Rovers Supporters Association group giving the reaction – find out what they had to say on the next page.
