A historic ground now, it’s Great Yarmough Town. The ground has been there since 1888, the famous grandstand was erected in 1892 where it still stands. It’s thought to be the oldest stand still in use in a football stadium. It displays the beautiful victorian architecture and even has a Grade 2 listing status which it gained in 2002 which means no one can knock it down.

There is a number of grounds up and down the country that doubles as athletics arenas with tracks around the pitch, but Newcastle Town’s doubles up as a velodrome. There is a cycle track and the corners are very steep, so if supporters are around the edge, you don’t want to fall over the barriers.
2nd) PRINCES PARK (Dartford)

This ground has been described as the most ecologically sound grounds ever built. It was opened in 2006 and has a capacity of over 4,000. One of those in attendance at every game is a 5.5 meter talk wooden man who stands on the terraces with it’s arms out stretched. The stands were built out of renewable timber is is also a green living roof. Have a complex water recycling system which helps irrigate the pitch which is set 2 meters below ground level which helps reduce noise and light pollution. There is also solar panels on the roof which makes it a clever and forward-thinking ground.
1st) WAR MEMORIAL ATHLETIC GROUND (Stourbridge)

Stourbridge’s ground also doubles up, like many in this article, but this one has a cricket pitch. The football pitch takes up half of the overall cricket pitch and there is some fencing that can be removed so it means Stourbridge can only put up three stands around the ground. One side of the pitch has three unique stands to make up one. There is also a cricket scoreboard and a nice looking pavilion.
