This morning, Tony Adams made an appearance on Soccer AM, so it was always likely he was going to be trending on Twitter anyway.
But he boosted his way up the list after smashing a free-kick straight into the face of a crew member, leaving on-lookers and viewers in stitches.
The former Arsenal centre back stepped up to the ball and instead of trying to get the ball over the wall and into the net, he instead tried curl it with the outside of his foot.

That wasn’t the only time he left being laughing either after Adams also mocked Soccer AM’s Lloyd Griffith, the joint-presenter and show goalkeeper.
The ex player and manager, who will also become the 29th President of the Rugby Football League, managed to nutmeg Griffith in a one-on-one then celebrated amusingly.
