Sunderland’s Luke O’Nien has gone viral after he jumped on top of a supporter’s back during the Black Cats’ equaliser celebrations at Walsall yesterday.
Jack Ross’ side were reduced to 10-men with just 22 minutes into the League One clash when Max Power made a reckless challenge to pick up his third red card of the season.
It got even worse for the mackems who found themselves in deep trouble after two goals were scored from the Saddlers in six minutes through Josh Gordon and Josh Ginnelly.
However Sunderland fought back and went on to give themselves hope when Aiden McGeady found the net from 10 yards.
It looked like the Wearside’s unbeaten run of 12 games was close to ending, but a dramatic late ending saw Lynden Gooch hit home in the 89th minute to complete the comeback and maintain that impressive record.
Amongst the celebrations, which saw plenty of the travelling fans leg it onto the pitch, one pitch invader had fallen over the advertising boards and then got jumped on by midfielder Luke O’Nien.

The video went on to be watched over 89,000 times on Twitter as well as being ‘liked’ by 1,500 users.
O’Nien then tweeted: “What character from the boys to come back late on! No better way than to celebrate the equalising goal with the fans! What a tackle.” (with a wink emoji).
After the video was posted online as well as being seen by O’Nien, fans were certainly amused and gave their amusing reaction, other fans however took to mock Sunderland’s pitch invasion – take a look at those tweets on the next page.
