Footage has been posted on social media showing stewards at Leeds United getting punched and kicked by Birmingham fans.
It came at the end of the game which saw Leeds come out victorious with a 1-0 win thanks to Kalvin Phillips who rifled the ball into the net on the 65th minute.

According to BBC Radio Leeds, at least two stewards – including one female – were physically assaulted by a section of the away end.
Noel Whelan reacted on BBC Radio Leeds: “Disgusting scenes. Absolutely no need for it. They [Birmingham fans] threw a flare into the Leeds end, trying to antagonise them. Then it all starts kicking off on our own stewards. They should be ashamed of themselves.”
That’ll be a big points deduction and fine for Leeds. Birmingham fans are fucking scumbags pic.twitter.com/Z8KAQ6Tpwo

The host later stated that the female was back on her feet after the incident, and that the male victim was sitting upright while being treated by paramedics.
Trouble at the end of the game with Birmingham fans looking to beat the row of police. Obviously leads to some back from Leeds fans too. pic.twitter.com/ZuG2SOGfSJ

The trouble tried to flare up outside the ground also…
Birmingham fans being a bunch of absolute mugs. Just cos peaky blinders came out doesn’t mean you can wear a flat cap and instantly be hard as fuck ?? #lufc #bcfc pic.twitter.com/Imkal1OJYk

Blues boss Pep Clotet said: Of course you don’t want violence in the game anywhere. I just hope that no-one is hurt and calmed down as much as possible. You come to football to enjoy it and have a good day.”
After finding out or seeing the incident at Leeds today, fans took to express their outrage and shock – see what they wrote on the next page.

Leeds fans all singing I predict a riot whilst standing still, over rated fans from down south, good at jumping up and down and hiding ,may as well team up with villa ,and you still would run.

A load of rubbish. I was one of those blues fans there yesterday. Heavy handed stewarding and policing as usual before during and after the game. Children being pushed by the stewards and women. Leeds fans throwing bottles and coins in the ground at the end of game no mention of that anywhere. As for the worse violence load of rubbish also. If people are going to publish stories and opinions make sure that they get both sides and stop being so biased
