There was shock on Sunday evening as a Leicester fan attacks the celebrating Nottingham Forest players at the City Ground.
The Reds were running rampant in their stunning 4-1 win over Brendan Rodgers’ side, however it was marred by an incident mid-game.
Nottingham Forest players were left to fend off a punch-throwing pitch invader during their first-half onslaught.
To the disbelief of the travelling Foxes, Forest scored three goals in nine first-half minutes to take a 3-0 lead.
And the battering proved too much to take for one fan who bizarrely rushed out of the Leicester end, before throwing punches at the celebrating cluster of Forest players.
Disgraceful behaviour from this Leicester fan after Forest scored!
Give him a lifetime ban now! 😡#FACup pic.twitter.com/m1yXyG2ucB

Forest, who sit 8th in the Championship table, took the lead with a well-worked goal which saw Keinan Davis head down Brennan Johnson’s cross and Philip Zinckernagel poked the ball home.
Within 30 seconds, the hosts couldn’t believe their luck when doubling their lead, Johnson finishing after a terrible backpass from James Justin.
Then it was 3-0 when returning captain Joe Worrall powered in a header at the back post from James Garner’s corner.
Premier League Leicester were handed a lifeline when home goalkeeper Brice Samba made an error and that enabled Kelechi Iheanacho to roll the ball into an unguarded net, but they were not able to fight back.
Forest restored their three-goal advantage when Djed Spence raced through and slid the ball past Ward to set up a fifth-round home tie against fellow Championship side Huddersfield.
Most of the game was played in front of a bumper atmosphere in front of a packed crowd, although there was an unsavoury incident after Forest’s second goal.
A ‘fooligan’ ran on to the pitch and confronted a number of players before being tackled by security and led away.

The BBC issued an update on their coverage, saying that the supporter was then arrested and taken to police custody.
Leicester said in a statement: ‘The club is appalled by such behaviour and offers its apologies to Nottingham Forest and its players whose safety was compromised.
‘We applaud the swift action taken by City Ground stewards in apprehending the individual involved, who will be subject to a lifetime ban from all Leicester City fixtures at home and away.
‘We will offer every support to the relevant authorities in pursuing further appropriate action.’
Alan Shearer said post-match: “It’s a pleasure to be here. The atmosphere has been magnificent all afternoon. As soon as Forest got the first goal there was only one team going to win it.
“Everything they did in the second half, there were so many impressive performances even from the substitutes who came on.
“Well done, Forest. Well done, Steve Cooper. It feels like they have got something good going on.”
Michael Emons (BBC Sport at The City Ground) said: “This is a day Nottingham Forest won’t forget in a hurry. Scarves are being flung around supporters’ heads, the fans are bouncing around the ground with everyone on their feet applauding their team’s efforts as the players do a lap of honour.
“And Forest were superb and in no way does this scoreline flatter them. Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers will be horrified by his side’s defending, but this is Forest’s day – and what a day for their faithful, who have not had too much to cheer about in recent years.”
Jonathan Woodgate: “What a performance from Forest. A first-class performance. It could have been 6-1. They were that good today. They’re destined for the play-offs.
“The two wing-backs were flying up and down, the centre-backs were hard to beat.
“Well done to the manager as well.”
Martin Keown: “It’s back to the drawing board for Brendan Rodgers. He wants to see better performances. They can’t keep shipping goals. It’s been a disaster defensively.”
“You talk about the romance of the FA Cup. There are tough moments too and this has been tough for Leicester’s fans.”
