VIDEO: Portsmouth fan throws flare onto Sunderland supporters

After finding out that a flare was thrown by Portsmouth fans onto Sunderland’s home support, fans took to vent out their anger…

Landed just in front of myself where a young boy was sat, luckily the lad had been taken to the toilet by his dad. It was a flare as i saw it and it had to removed from the floor and put into a specialised box by officers, absolutely disgraceful behaviour ?

A lot of criticism aimed at @northumbriapol, but personally I would like to thank the Sergeant in the North Stand for helping my daughter who took ill when the flare landed…

However there were some who made light of the situation…
