Pep Guardiola has been captured on video appearing to lose it with reporter who asked him about Manchester City’s FFP allegations.
It came following his side’s win at Wembley Stadium which saw them hit opposition Watford for six, with goals coming from David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
The question – asking if Guardiola has been given separate payments from the owners while manager of City – came following reports that former boss Roberto Mancini had received payments for other services from the club’s owners, doubling his salary at the time.
Pep certainly was left in shock after what he had been asked.
“Do you know the question that you are asking me… if I receive money for another situation right now today?
“Honestly, do you think I deserve this kind of question? What happened to Roberto I don’t know. The day I won the treble [I’m asked] about receiving money from other situations.
“Oh my god, are you accusing me? Are you accusing me to receive money in that situation?”
He tries to contain his anger whilst the rest of the room are left silent and rather awkward at what just happened.
The reporter denied it but Pep was still left furious.
