A video has surfaced on social media appearing to show a smashed up Premier League trophy on the concrete from a balcony the Manchester City players were standing on.
User Gary Coles has posted the video on Facebook, with Sergio Aguero looking rather guilty at what might have just happened prior to the recording.
It was uploaded after Man City had their treble winning celebrations in the city centre today, many members of the squad looking merry.
An open-top bus parade left a Town Hall at around 6:15pm before finishing at the cathedral where the players appeared in front of the thousands in the crowd.

It is then said by the Daily Star that the players headed to the training complex next to the Etihad Stadium, where it seems as though the trophy is left in pieces with the ribbon still attached on the ground.

This however appears not to be the real trophy, and in fact a prank.
Hush Kerai, a producer/Assistant news editor for Sky Sports News, has stated: “Manchester City have confirmed to @SkySportsNews that this video is not what it seems. This is taken from a City TV prank sketch.
Whilst many thought City have been involved in having another accident with the trophy, it wouldn’t have been the first time to do so as youngster Zinchenko sent the Premier League trophy off its plinth during celebrations with his team last May.
