A Maidstone United fan two foots a celebrating Boreham Wood fan during a pitch invasion after the National League South playoff final.
As can be seen in various videos, the Maidstone supporter jumped out of the away end and storms over to one of the Boreham Wood fans seen holding a pint.
After the two footed tackle from the side, the Boreham Wood fan falls to ground, drops his drink, then others get involved, they scuffle, then are separated, a steward makes his way over to restore calm.

In the lunchtime kick off on Sunday, Boreham Wood secured promotion to the National League with a 1-0 victory over Maidstone United in the National League South promotion final at a sold-out Meadow Park.
Charles Clayden scored the only goal of the game two minutes into the second half, curling a stunning left-footed shot into the top corner after a skillful assist from Abdul Abdulmalik.
Despite chances at both ends in a competitive match, including a missed opportunity by Boreham Wood’s Matt Rush and a strong save by goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore, Boreham Wood held on to seal a return to the fifth tier of English football just over a year after relegation.
Maidstone United manager George Elokobi said after the game, per KentOnline: “It hurts, it will sting for our group but we’ll pick them up. That’s our job.
“Watching it hurts but we are Maidstone United Football Club and there’s a culture of respect and that’s one of our values.
“Win, draw, lose, we respect the opposition for what they’ve done, shake hands and we move on and we heal and then we’ll come back stronger.
“The season isn’t going to be defined by today.
“Yes, it’s a final and you want to try and get promoted.
“But, more importantly, you’ve got to look at the strides we’ve taken throughout the season and where we were today.
“You win some games and you lose some but I’m immensely proud of the group for the resilience they’ve shown throughout the season.
“The players went out there and showed a lot of character, a lot of quality as well and some of the football we played home and away can’t be discredited.
“It’s about making sure we learn from moments like this, looking at the two away performances we had (in the play-offs) and coming into a game against a good side.
Two promotions confirmed following 2024/25 National League North and South playoff finals
“It was important our heads didn’t drop. I thought after going a goal down we controlled possession and territory and we’ve forced them back but we didn’t quite get that opening we wanted in the final third.
“The final ball wasn’t quite right, we didn’t land on the seconds in the box, but our players left everything out on this pitch and it’s important we look at it as a whole.
“Big congratulations to Boreham Wood because this is why we’re in football. We show up when we win, when we draw but, more importantly, we have to show up (when we lose) and we have to pay them respect.
“They are the promoted side and we’re going to learn from this, it will spur us on and give us that little boost for next season.”
