Lee Bowyer gives a priceless reaction when hearing that their next opponent Fulham’s result ended in a 6-2 win at home to Bristol City.
Bowyer’s Birmingham City side could only draw 1-1 away to Preston North End, but he was asked about his thoughts for the next game, and gone viral in the making.
The interviewer said to the boss: “And finally a quick turnaround to Fulham, the rearranged game, they’ve won by six goals to two this afternoon so a very different challenge to prepare for.
Bowyer made viewers laugh when he said with some sarcasm: “Yeah so that’s what 13 goals in 2 goals, yeah, looking forward to that then.”

Fulham currently sit top of the Championship table, with 51 points from 25 games and a game in hand over second place Bournemouth who are two points behind the leaders.
Birmingham meanwhile are 18th, with 28 points from 25 games, but Boywer has countlessly expressed his frustration at not being able to spend as much as he’d like to.
He believes his side need to invest in a new forward following the departure of Chuks Aneke, a big blow to the team with questioned raised over any potential incomings.
Aneke joined the St Andrew’s side in the summer, joining the club on the expiration of his contract at Charlton Athletic after scoring 15 goals in 38 League One appearances last term.
He thrived under manager Bowyer at The Valley for much of the campaign before the boss’ departure to the West Midlands in March.
The pair reunited in July and signed a two-year stay at the club, though hasn’t been able to perform up to many peoples’ expectations, starting just one league game for the Blues and was on the bench as an unused substitute in five Championship games.
After some criticism by some fans for his performances, he went back to the Addicks on Friday for a reported fee worth £300,000.
Bowyer said: “It’s with a bit of heavy heart to see him go but he was the only one that someone came in for.
“I hope he will be replaced, I think we need another striker. You see there I have just had to put on young Jobe. We are lacking a little bit there.
“Chuks made a difference for us, every time he came off the bench he caused problems for other teams. Hopefully we can bring in someone who can do the same.”
A month ago, the manager went on a rant at the “ludicrous” Birmingham City owners ahead of the January transfer window, and was miffed at the disappointing budget given to him for new players in the hope of a playoff push.
Bowyer believed his hands are tied, wanted to strengthen his squad sufficiently but when asked about the budget he and technical director Craig Gardner will be afforded, Bowyer made a few digs.
Speaking to the BBC, Bowyer said: “I feel for Craig. The hand he has to deal with is ludicrous.
“I’m not disillusioned. And l’m not going to complain about it. I’ve just got to try and grind out results.
“But I’m disappointed at the way it’s panned out as that’s not what was told to me the minute I walked in.
“There’s been a lot of changes from what I was told then to now, but it is what it is.
“I can’t change that. And, if there is one thing I am good at it’s adjusting because I’ve had to do that a lot in the past.”
Bowyer came into the club in March and kept the club in the Championship last season. He was limited to making just four permanent signings in the summer, one of whom was Troy Deeney, whilst he was also reliant on loan signings.
One of them, Manchester United’s Tahith Chong, had made a great impact before picking up a long-term injury that cut his spell short.
It is thought that the deal has not been terminated and that the possibility of the Dutch midfielder returning to St Andrew’s to see out his loan is still a possibility, albeit depending on the player’s rehabilitation.
Bowyer has also had to move players on with as many as 16 having depart the club in the summer.
Then the club were hit with a flurry of injuries and suspensions that have made caused havoc with Bowyer’s squad with youngsters having to play a part earlier than expected in their careers.
Bowyer also suggested that he may have to sell players before he is able to bring anyone in next month, leaving fresh concern especially with fans.
Finding replacements and bolstering his squad to manage injuries, such as Chong’s, is incredibly unlikely hence the reason Bowyer has hit out.
Birmingham fans are protesting against their owners.

He added: “We’re limited in what we can do because of things that have happened in the past. It’s not my fault or Craig’s fault.
“We have to try and change things here. It’s a project and this is a transition period.
“My job on the field is trying to get points and Craig’s job off the field is behind the scenes, moving things around to strengthen the squad.
“But we’re going to have to move players out and we’re going to have to bring in players.
“Especially if we play the way we want to play going forward. We have to bring in a different type of person.”
