VIDEO: Gillingham’s Tom Eaves hilariously sings “you’re just a shit Andy Carroll” at Xmas party

It’s that time of year again, Christmas is around the corner it means most clubs’ staff and players tend to have a party to celebrate the festive season.

In recent years we’ve see many in some weird and wonderful fancy dress and it was no different for Gillingham, who at the weekend were captured on video in a bar.

What got plenty of amusing reaction from fans was Gills forward Tom Eaves, who was singing “you’re just a shit Andy Carroll” with all the other teammates, which was in reference to the nickname he’s ended up picking up.

Watch the hilarious moment in the video below…

The video, which was uploaded to Twitter but originally via Josh Parker’s Instagram, has gone on to be watched nearly 4,000 times.

Eaves is a fan favourite at Gillingham as he’s scored 31 goal in 63 appearances since joining in 2017.

In a goal GIF tweet that went viral back in September, the forward’s nickname was joked about picking up over 2,000 likes…

He also had rave reviews after he scored a sublime goal against Portsmouth earlier on in the season.

The player is the current top goalscorer in League One this season. Because of this, a huge amount of speculation has seen Gills fans resigned to the fact that they might lose him in January or next summer.

Earlier this month, various reports claimed that Scottish Premiership side Rangers and Hibernian were tracking him as well as Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End expressing an interest.

The Scottish Sun say that Eaves is ‘considering his options’ with his contract up next summer, allowing him to talk to other clubs from January.

Supporters caught on to the video of Tom Eaves singing “you’re just a shit Andy Carroll” with the rest of the Gillingham squad at a Christmas party and then expressed how it would be sad when he leaves in the January transfer window – take a look at those tweets on the next page.
