VIDEO: Fan gets kicked out West Ham v Newcastle by huge amount of stewards

A video has been uploaded to social media site Twitter showing at least 10 stewards removing a spectator from West Ham United’s match with Newcastle United yesterday.

Prior to kick off, the Hammers honoured club legend Billy Bonds by renaming the East Stand at the London Stadium after their former footballer who has made more appearances (799) for West Ham than any other player as well as led them to four cup finals, including two FA Cup victories between 1974 and 1984.

Fighting back the tears during the unveiling, Bonds said: “I am very emotional right now. I think it is a great honour to be up there with this club, I am overwhelmed.”

It seems however that one ‘fan’ only went to the game yesterday evening to cause trouble.

@westhamfootball on Twitter wrote: “Troubles at the back of stand 114 in the west stand”.

Watched what happened in the video below…

One fan, @joeharris06 said: “They deserved to be kicked out, sat right behind me. 2 junkies with no interest in West Ham just looking for a fight”.

@MPSWesthamUtdFC stated: “Great result for @WestHamUtd this evening,

“Great support from the fans unfortunately one idiot decided he would throw a coin and was subsequently ejected and arrested, he was subsequently found in possession of cocaine.

“He will be spending the rest of the evening a an 8×8 cell.”

After watching the video of the fan being kicked out, fans took to social media to give their opinions, some joked, others were shocked at how many stewards were involved – check out what they had to say on the next page.
