Two ducks entered the playing surface during non league Lancashire cup match Moss Bank Junior vs Barr Hill for the Bolton, Bury & District Football League Chairman’s Cup final.
Play was stopped as they legged it onto the field of play, but after taking their time, a player ended up having to run at them.

Fans in attendance looked on and laughed at the situation, with the referee and the other footballers stood and waited until the ducks eventually flew away so that the game could continue.
Moss Bank ended up being crowd the Bolton, Bury & District Football League Chairman’s Cup final winners, beating their opponents 2-0 to lift the trophy at the County Ground.

The ground, based in Leyland, has a capacity of just over 2,300 and is currently home to the Under 23 sides of Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers, as well as the Association’s U18 representative team.
The Lancashire Football Association tweeted about the incident, nicknaming the duck duo after animated characters Donald and Daffy.
