It is said by fans on social media that a man was arrested outside the ground. Nothing more has yet been reported.
Moving on to the game itself – Macauley Bonne put the home side in the lead prior to the break, only for it to be cancelled out by Andreas Weimann who got on the end of substitute Niclas Eliasson’s cross immediately in the second half.
Eliasson put City ahead on the hour mark, however Bonne was there again to lash a left-foot volley past keeper Dan Bentley to make it 2-2.
On the 82nd minute, Bonne’s low cross was bundled in at the far post by Doughty for his first goal for the Addicks, which ended up sealing all three points.
The win lifted Charlton to 16th place in the table, while City – who have now lost four games in a row – drop to 10th.
