Well known Bolton supporter and YouTuber Thogden recorded himself celebrating a penalty being award to his side only for offside to be given instead during the Trotters’ 1-0 defeat to Blackburn last Saturday.
Phil Parkinson’s side were behind after Bradley Dack put Rovers in front midway through the first half when substitute Christian Doidge had a late penalty claim turned down when he was ruled fractionally offside.
Thogden celebrated at thinking Bolton had just be awarded a penalty, jumping wildly shouting “penalty!” before saying “we’ve scored the penalty!”
However his face completely dropped as fans around him had to let him know that the referee had actually given it offside.
His fuming father then comes in to the camera, he said: “Offside! I hate referees and linesmen in the EFL, because they hate Bolton.”
Thogden then replied with “They hate Bolton because of the way we play”
He is left completely open-mouthed, the goes on to say, “I’m actually pissed off” a young fan behind him shouts that “the ref is terrible!”, hiss Dad then say “what is is?, what is it?” and again the Youtuber replies “it wasn’t the ref, he made the right decision, it’s the fucking linesman over there, linos don’t like Bolton, they never have, pricks.”
His Dad appeared again and said, “This doesn’t, I tell you I swear, this doesn’t happen to other teams, it happens to Bolton week in, week out.
