A spokesperson for Slough Town said, as quoted by Echo News: “The club is aware of an incident that took place during half time at last Saturday’s game.

“The situation was dealt with by the stewards and the club’s safety officer and match officials were made aware.

“We can advise that the police did not attend.

“We have been contacted by the National League and accordingly the club will not be making any further comment at this stage.”

Alex Wilson, a Slough supporter said also quoted by Echo News: “I was shocked at the behaviour of the Billericay sub Tamberson Eyong who thought it was acceptable to abuse fans, including a disabled person and a 15-year-old, as well as using threatening behaviour and language towards us, including the ‘C word’.

“At the stroke of the half time whistle, Eyong jumped over the barrier and attacked a minor.

“The atmosphere at non-league games is usually pleasant and I have often been to games against Billericay, including one against Concord Rangers, where everyone has been having a chat and a cup of tea, but this – I have never seen anything like it.

“I really don’t know what caused him to become so aggressive, especially as he wasn’t even playing.”
