There were upsets galore in what was a rather surprising FA Cup Second Qualifying Round which played out across this weekend.
160 teams made an appearance; 48 newly entered from Level 6 (National League North and South) and 112 winners from the previous round.
This round included 16 clubs from Level 9, the lowest ranked teams still standing in the competition. Two debutants also remained in the competition, Bury AFC and Shefford Town & Campton.
In total, there were 11 upsets, leading to jubilant scenes in and around stadiums across the country with some making history.
A number of teams from the ninth tier of English football made is through to the third qualifying round.
They were Ashington (who beat level 6 Bradford (Park Avenue) 2-1), Romford (beating level 7 side Potters Bar Town 2-1) and Shefford Town & Campton (who won 3-1 against level 8 side Grays Athletic).
