We check out the updated list of our champions, promotions, relegations confirmed in non league by the 29th of March 2026.

It’s that time of the season again, the end is just around the corner, with still so much at stake for clubs in the pyramid. Then it’s the playoffs.

CHAMPIONS / PROMOTIONS

Mar 7, 2026 – Congratulations to Cobham FC, the 1st club at Steps 1 to 6 in to be crowned Champions in 2025/26 Combined Counties League Premier Division South

Mar 14, 2026 – Liversedge claim the Northern Counties East League Premier Division title today with their convincing 3-0 win at Parkgate.

Mar 20, 2026 – Dearne & District win the Northern Counties East League Division One title following their 5-0 win away at Club Thorne.

Mar 24, 2026 – Whitstable Town claim the Southern Counties East League Premier Division following a 2-2 draw at Rusthall.

Mar 25, 2026 – Redcar Athletic claim the Northern Premier League East Division title, following their 4-2 win over Matlock Town.

Mar 28, 2026 – Grenadier FC claim the Liverpool Premier League title following their 2-0 win at East Villa Rail. 18 wins from 18 games.

Mar 28, 2026 – Mulbarton Wanderers are crowned Eastern Counties League Premier Division champions following a 5-1 win at Heacham. Their win combined with Haverhill Rovers being held to a 4-4 draw means they’re heading up to Step 4.

Mar 28, 2026 – 1st Champion at Step 7 – London Harts United who have won the Essex Alliance Football League Senior Division after their 4-3 win

RELEGATIONS

For Step 6 teams, this just means the team will finish in the bottom 3 and could/will receive a reprieve depending on where in the Country and the size of League they are in.

March 7, 2026 – Axminster Town – South West Peninsula East Division – in bottom 3 after losing 1-2

March 7, 2026 – Rainworth Miners Welfare – United Counties Division 1 – in bottom 3 after losing 0-4
below all survive… for now…

March 7, 2026 – Glasshoughton Welfare – Northern Counties East Division 1 – in bottom 3 after losing 0-6 AND Athersley Recreation won 5-0

Mar 11, 2026 – Brantham Athletic and East Grinstead Town are confirmed relegated from the Isthmian North Division and South East Division.

Mar 14, 2026 – 1 team have been confirmed to finish in the bottom 3 at Step 6, with the usual caveat: Copthorne – Southern Combination Division 1

Mar 17, 2026 – Wombwell Town have been relegated from the Northern Counties East Premier Division

Mar 21, 2026 – Raynors Lane have been relegated from the Southern Division 1 Central Division

Mar 24, 2026 – Leamington have been relegated from the National League North following a 5-2 defeat to King’s Lynn Town

Mar 25, 2026 – AFC Dunstable have been relegated from the Southern League Division One Central, club plans to merge with Dunstable Town of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division

Mar 28, 2026 – Fareham Town have been relegated (P35 W4 D5 L26 GF42 GA84 PTS17) from the Isthmian South Central Division following a 3-1 defeat to Hayes & Yeading United

Mar 28, 2026 – Tavistock AFC have been relegated (P35 W3 D4 L28 GF26 GA88 PTS13) from the Southern Division 1 South Division (following a 6-1 defeat to Winchester City

Mar 28, 2026 – Guildford City have been relegated (P38 W8 D6 L24 GF48 GA85 PTS30) from the Combined Counties Premier South Division following a 2-1 defeat to Epsom & Ewell

Mar 28, 2026 – City of Liverpool have been relegated (P42 W4 D5 L33 GF38 GA164 17PTS) from the North West Counties Premier Division following a 3-1 defeat to FC Isle of Man.

Mar 28, 2026 – Wivenhoe Town – Eastern Counties Division 1 North
Mar 28, 2026 – Leiston Reserves – Eastern Counties Division 1 North
Mar 28, 2026 – Nostell Miners Welfare – Northern Counties East Division 1
Mar 28, 2026 – Shefford Town & Campton – South Midlands Division 1
