Football fans took to Twitter after finding out of the news that both Aylesbury FC and Bedgrove Dynamos are to merge and change their name…
This is a fantastic opportunity for the club after the disappointing news over the last few weeks ?
All the best with the merger and we look forward to hosting Aylesbury Vale Dynamos at Eynsham Park one day in the future ?

Doesn’t the FA league committee determine which leagues clubs are placed in after the end of the season. So why are you saying that you’re going to be in the SSML next season? You could just as easily be placed into the Hellenic League & it’s still the FALC’s decision.

The reaction continued on the Non League Grounds of England and Scotland Facebook group…
Andy Ward commented: there should only be one Aylesbury THE DUCKS
Martin Jeffs wrote: Aylesbury United should be the only club in Aylesbury….
Avril Lancaster said: Time to merge and get back to the abandoned (duck emoji) ground and press for Vanarama South
