Two kids hilariously embarrass MUTV with interview comments after Everton draw

Two kids hilariously embarrass MUTV with interview comments after the 1-1 draw with Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester United’s struggles this season seemingly continue as for a third consecutive time, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has failed to beat Everton at home in the Premier League.

The mood after the final whistle was glum, as club TV channel MUTV discovered, and took to ask their fans for their feedback.

Presenter Sam Homewood thought at the time it would be a good idea to ask two kids live on air what they thought of the game, and was not expecting the response which followed.

‘Ole out’ responded one, before the second said, ‘Ole out, Sancho’s crap’, before they were quickly whisked off.

Jadon Sancho came off the bench and looked bright, putting in one of his better performances since he joined, creating a chance for Cristiano Ronaldo, who after the final whistle was seen furious as he made his way towards the tunnel.

He [Sancho] did miss a late chance, and has not yet hit top form since he joined. But there have been positive signs in his last couple of showings.

Andros Townsend cancelled out Anthony Martial’s first Premier League goal since February; Cristiano Ronaldo made his 200th Premier League appearance but marched off in frustration.

Player ratings

Man Utd: De Gea (6), Wan Bissaka (7), Varane (6), Lindelof (5), Shaw (6), McTominay (7), Fred (6), Greenwood (6), Fernandes (6), Martial (6), Cavani (5).

Subs: Pogba (6), Ronaldo (6), Sancho (7).

Everton: Pickford (6), Godfrey (7), Mina (6), Keane (7), Digne (6), Townsend (8), Doucoure (8), Allan (7), Gordon (7), Gray (8), Rondon (6).

Subs: Subs: Davies (6), Dobbin (N/A).

Man of the match: Demarai Gray.

Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: “We got hit on one break that cost us and we lacked that cutting edge to get the important second goal. We made a couple of decisions that cost us. We had players behind the ball when the ball was delivered and we should have dealt with it. We need to work on it because we are facing more and more opponents who allow us to have possession.

“It’s a big month. We have to be focused and make sure we use the international break well; come back with energy and clear focus. The mindset is good, the players are hungry to improve. We dominated the game but just couldn’t get the second goal you need in games like this.

“I’m confident we will get the best out of this squad. A lot has happened this month [player arrivals]. We have loads to work on but I do believe in these players and this coaching staff. I believe we have something going but proof is in the pudding.”

Everton boss Rafa Benitez: “I’m really pleased because to come here and perform the way we did, the chances we had, the way we defended against a very good team, we have to be really proud of the players and everyone.

“In the second half the team reacted well and we still had chances to win the game. Townsend is doing well, his commitment and quality is there. But it’s not just one player doing well, he was fantastic but the rest of the team worked so hard.”

UnitedInFocus gave their thoughts after the game, saying: “Criticism of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is harder to dismiss.

“The manager is coming under pressure in the media, not for the first time, but now he is dealing with raised expectations.

“A second placed finish last season means there is little room for error when it comes to making further progress, and Ronaldo’s arrival increases the urgency to win now.

“United have won just two games out of the last six and do not look fluid in midfield, also boasting a poor defensive record.

“The club will back Solskjaer, but when two kids are calling for the manager to be replaced, it underlines that results like this are simply not good enough.”

Fans reacted as the two kids hilariously embarrass MUTV with their interview comments after the Everton draw…

@scotterzz: “Sancho’s crap” Says kid after watching a 21 year-old play 5 games for us. He would’ve hated Ronnie when he first came

@Diavolo_Rosso1: I get your gist but disagree. Ronaldo had ‘something’ from the moment he stepped on the pitch for us. Nobody knew he’d go on to become what he has, but he excited from game 1. Sancho has in the main, been anonymous. Im not having a go at him but there’s no comparison with Ronaldo

@DrBile1: Kids with half ‘n half scarves & Scouse accents and loads siding with them! Mmmm.

@shaunmc1consult: Irony is Sancho had his best performance and looked like the player we wanted, he just needs time to settle in

@irishtown22: Should’ve got their old man over to chat

@maxmufc7: He would have sworn

@Ollieslost: Spot on kids well done

@steveclegg70: Even the kids know the deal

@ZukhanyeTimla: Kids are the most honest beings, they tell it as it is.. #OleOut #MUNEVE #MUFC

@ZieluSZN: This would never happen in Dortmund, come back imo @Sanchooo10

@HMackin99: Freedom of speech is not allowed on MUTV

@utd_vibes: These kids get it

@RedDevilMUFC90: Kids just repeat what is popular on SM or based on what influencers they follow. The ease with which opinions can be swayed nowadays is a bit scary. Not restricted to football, but it’s a concerning trend! Feels like some have given up the ability to think for themselves.

@sach_1892: Arsenal fan TV has competition 😂

@joebutters: To be fair, this presenter handled it quite well

@weeson1988: Take a bow lads, ole out
