There were troubling scenes on Tuesday night as fans clash after Runcorn Linnets’ county cup final win against Stalybridge.

Angus McLaren uploaded a video onto Twitter, with the caption: Really poor showing tonight at the CSC final. Poor stewarding and not enough of it. @RuncornLinnets showing their class too. An idiots day out set up appallingly. @StalyCelticFC”

Fans ran on the pitch and went straight to the Stalybridge fans, with it getting quickly out of hand and stewards struggling to handle it.

Runcorn won the Cheshire Senior Cup Final with a 3-0 victory, Adam Moseley scored all three goals, but it turned sour at the end, as can be seen in footage below.
