National League matches have been called off due to travel chaos and an FA Trophy fixture has also been postponed this morning after a river had burst it’s banks after foul weather.
Tadcaster Albion were set to play against Brighouse Town, but following a pitch inspection, the referee had no choice but to postpone the cup tie. It’s no wonder looking at the below photos…

A new date has been confirmed on social media, Tadcaster said: “Confirmation that our FA Trophy tie against @brighousetownfc will now be played on Tuesday evening at The Global Stadium.
Tadcaster boss Curtis Woodhouse found out about the flooded pitch around 9:22am when he was notified by fans that the car park was under water and that fish had to be saved.

With it being Non League Day today, the club had invited supporters of nearby Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United or any other pro team to come and check them out.
Now it will be hoped they turn up for the rearranged clash on Tuesday with it still being international break.
National League games between AFC Fylde v Sutton, Stockport v Dag & Red, Barrow vs Dover have been postponed due to travel choas.
All train lines are blocked between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes due to a major incident which is being attended to by the emergency services.
Virgin Trains, London Northwestern Railway, and Southern services have been affected.
Services have been cancelled or delayed.
Bromley, who are at Solihull Moors had been experiencing problems also.
