Wolves ‘keeper Harry Burgoyne has been linked with a move to Sam Ricketts’ Shrewsbury Town.

– Jack Ross is confident the club can bolster their defensive options after Sunderland‘s clash with Charlton on Saturday. Speaking to the Shields Gazette, he said: “I’m hopeful we’ll manage to get a defensive player in. All being well, I’d hope that will be concluded post the Charlton game.”

– Lee Bowyer hopes that Charlton can secure two new signings also before Saturday’s home game with Sunderland. He said to the South London Press: “Yeah, it’s close. I went and met the lad last week and everything’s agreed, I think we just need the green light and it’s all done. He could be another one. There are two we’re really close to so, yeah. Hopefully we get them both in before Sunderland. That’s the plan.”

DEALS:

Preston have signed Walsall winger Josh Ginnelly for an undisclosed fee on a 2-and-a-half year contract.

Norwich City have confirmed Matt Jarvis is joining Walsall on loan until the end of the season.

Crawley Town have signed striker Ricky German on a three-year contract. He has scored 28 times in 21 games for Southern League side Hendon this season.

Rushall Olympic have secured the loan signing of highly-rated teenage striker Dylan Parker from Walsall.

AFC Telford United have signed Brendon Daniels on a permanent basis from Port Vale following a loan spell.
