• Real Betis are looking to convince River Plate to accept an offer for only 50 per cent of the rights of Leeds United target Lucas Martinez Quarta.

• Southampton show interest in Nottingham Forest right-back Matty Cash. The 22-year-old, who scored three goals and contributed five assists from 42 appearances this season, is also linked with Sheffield United and West Ham. Reports say that Forest would be willing to sell him for £12m after they failed to make the play-offs. A £10m bid from the Blades to be rejected. A deal for Cash could also involve a player to get the signing over the line.

• The Sun’s Alan Nixon says Coventry are looking to buy Ben Sheaf from Arsenal. He impressed on loan at Doncaster Rovers this season, making 38 appearances.

• Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster has opened up on his future after a successful loan spell at Swansea City after scoring 11 goals in 22 games. The 20-year-old does not know what the future will hold, though he did not rule out a potential return to the Swans. “I have loved every moment of it, I love the club, I love the fans, I love the staff, I love everybody here,” Brewster told the Swansea club website.

• QPR are looking to snap up Izzy Brown from their west London neighbours Chelsea. He has a year remaining on his contract at the Blues.

• West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday are set to battle it out for 19 year old Nigerian winger Korede Adedoyin after the youngster was released by Everton. Birmingham City, Stoke City and Sheffield Wednesday have also been linked.

• Stoke City look set to lose Mo Sankoh, the 16-year-old striker who has been linked with some of the leading clubs in Europe, despite the Potters offering a new deal.

• Salford City keen on Preston North End striker David Nugent. Preston will allow the striker to leave on a free transfer this summer.

• According to Leeds Live, Wigan Athletic hope to receive bigger bids for Joe Gelhardt amid positive talks with Leeds United which has since gone quiet, despite Gelhardt visiting the club’s Thorp Arch training ground last week. Everton and Rangers also keen.

• AFC Bournemouth are keen to keep David Brooks despite their relegation from the Premier League. Everton, Tottenham and West Ham are interested in the Wales international.

• Crystal Palace could raid QPR for both Ebere Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel. Hodgson’s side are mulling over matching Club Brugge’s accept bid of £4.7m for Osayi-Samuel. West Ham are known to be keen on Eze, who has also been linked with Tottenham and Chelsea.

• Wolves are keen to blown Leeds United out of the water to sign Sunderland teen ace Daniel Neil, Football Insider understands. The 18 year old midfielder is also linked with Newcastle.

• Brighton and Hove Albion have joined Leeds United in the race for Wigan Athletic starlet Sean McGurk, however Leeds remain hopeful of sealing his signature.

• Cardiff City have edged ahead of Derby County, Stoke City, Middlesbrough, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers and Millwall in the race to sign Wigan Athletic striker Kieffer Moore, it is being reported.

• Leeds United are plotting a move for Newcastle midfielder Matty Longstaff, according to Mike McGrath in the Telegraph. The 20-year-old is out of contract in the summer and could be signed by Leeds for a compensation fee – thought to be around £400,000. Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Atalanta are all said to have made contact with Longstaff, whilst Everton and Arsenal have also been linked.

• Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, QPR and West Brom have been linked with a move to sign Manchester City forward Keyendrah Simmonds, who wants out at the Etihad in search for first team football. He has a year left on his contract with City and has a prolific record for their under-18s side, scoring 22 goals in 38 matches in the Under-18s Premier League.

• Birmingham City boss Aitor Karanka is reportedly weighing up a summer move for Nottingham Forest winger Albert Adomah, with Sports World Ghana reporting that the Spaniard is keen on linking up with his former player once again. He has a year remaining on his contract.

• Cardiff City are leading the chase to re-sign Wolves defender Dion Sanderson after he impressed on loan at the Championship club. He has been with the West Midlands outfit since the age of 10 and has one year left on contract.

• Coventry City have ended their interest in Wolves youngster Renat Dadashov but are considering alternative options.

• A deal for Wolves goalkeeper Matija Sarkic is in Sunderland’s sights as they eye competition for Lee Burge. Ex-Black Cats stopper and free agent Ben Alnwick has also been linked with a move to the Stadium of Light. (Various)

• Ipswich Town striker James Norwood is being monitored by Fleetwood Town and Dundee United this summer (East Anglian Times)

• Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds have enquired about Norwich City attacking midfielder Emiliano Buendia, but the Canaries want at least £25m. Brentford’s Ollie Watkins has also been discussed. (Daily Mail)

• Italian giants AC Milan and Napoli are in talks with Norwich City’s English defender Ben Godfrey, 22, after the Canaries were relegated from the Premier League. (Calciomercato)

• Portsmouth have made contact with Leicester registering their interest in centre-back Josh Knight.

• Bradford City may have to wait before making next signing with manager Stuart McCall is not anticipating any sudden moves in the transfer market. He has made a couple of approaches for players from higher divisions and is waiting for the clubs to get back. “We’ve spoken to a couple of teams from higher up regarding players, either to come out on loan or take permanently. But people aren’t rushing into decisions at the moment. The Premier League and Championship teams have just finished their seasons and aren’t due back for three weeks yet. It’s a staggered return for everyone so you have to wait. So there’s probably nothing close at the minute.”
