• Birmingham City are poised to sign former Middlesbrough defender George Friend on a free transfer.
• Watford striker Cucho Hernandez is on the verge of a move to Getafe, having already flown out to Madrid to undergo a medical.
• Leeds United have tabled an offer for Mainz midfielder, Jean-Paul Boetius according to German outlet Bild. The 26-year old has attracted interest from all over Europe, with Fulham, Sevilla and Fiorentina also in the mix for Boetius’ signature.
• Swansea City are showing interest in former Reading defender Gabriel Osho, who rejected a new contract offer.
• Angel Rangel’s two-year stay at QPR has come to an end. The 37-year-old Spanish full-back is to leave the Sky Bet Championship club after making 41 appearances.
• Tomer Hemed, Lewis Page and Naby Sarr have all left Charlton, the club have confirmed. Sarr made 116 appearances for the Addicks since joining in 2015, while Page spent three years at the club and Hemed enjoyed 18 outings in his solitary campaign.
• Mbunya Alemanji, 16, is close to sealing a move from Cambridge United to European giants AS Roma. The forward is in the Italian capital and has already agreed personal terms on the deal. It was three years ago that he was playing Sunday League football.
• Preston are eyeing up a cut-price move for Charlton Athletic striker Macauley Bonne. Alex Neil’s side could make an opening bid of £500,000 plus add-ons next week.
• West Ham and West Brom are in a transfer fight for Junior Caicara as Basaksehir demand £3m for the 31 year old Brazilian full-back..
• Everton are close to a deal to send 21-year-old midfielder Beni Baningime on loan to League One club Blackpool for next season. (Liverpool Echo)
• Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks to sign recently-departed Reading defender Tyler Blackett, Football Insider can reveal.
• Goalkeeper Dillon Phillips will not sign a new contract at Charlton Athletic, amid links with Derby County. He played 47 times for the Addicks last season, and the 25-year-old looks set to leave – he’s been linked with Cardiff, Middlesbrough, Huddersfield as well as the Rams.
• Stuttgart forward Nico Gonzalez could be on the verge of joining Leeds after visiting the club’s facilities. The Whites have held talks with Newcastle over potentially signing out-of-contract Matty Longstaff, who is also wanted by Udinese.
• Millwall manager Gary Rowett has dismissed reports suggesting his side could make a move for Derby County left-back Max Lowe, South London Press report.
• Fenerbahce appear to have ended their interest in Reading striker George Puscas.
• Sheffield Wednesday are not in the race to sign Elias Kachunga, reports Examiner Live.
• QPR, Stoke, Barnsley and Middlesbrough are interested in signing Lyndon Dykes from Livingston in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun. QPR director of football Les Ferdinand watched Dykes in action for Livingston against Hibernian last Saturday and against Motherwell on Wednesday.
• According to the Birmingham Mail in an exclusive report, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and recently promoted West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing midfielder Siriki Dembele, who plays for Peterborough United.
• Blackpool and Hull City are among the clubs linked with Leeds United midfielder Robbie Gotts.
• Birmingham City are considering a move for ex-Monaco defender Raphael Diarra. Bristol City also want the former France U20 international who is out of contract at current club Quevilly-Rouen Metropole.
• Sunderland’s Jack Diamond could be subject to a bid from former loan club Harrogate Town who remain keen on the attacker. The 20-year-old scored the Sulphurites’s third goal as they sealed promotion to the EFL for the first time in their club history, beating Notts County in the play-off final.
• Phil Parkinson wants to bring in five more new signings this summer and ex-Everton youngster Morgan Feeney is training with Sunderland, according to the Chronicle.
• Port Vale are showing interest in Nottingham Forest forward Kieran Hayes. The under-23s striker, who spent time on loan at Truro last season, is understood to have linked up with the Valiants for training this week.
