• Crystal Palace have had a £8m plus add ons bid for Eberechi Eze rejected as QPR hold out for £16m. The player is also wanted by West Ham.
• Leeds have reportedly told they have little to no chance of signing Gent attacker Jonathan David.
• Brighton chairman Tony Bloom has confirmed plans to trim the squad down, referencing his club’s “abundance” of centre-backs including Leeds United target Ben White. Liverpool are the favourites however to sign him up.
• Norwich City have made inquiries over the availability for Fulham’s Alfie Mawson and Wolves’ Ryan Bennett as they look to strengthen their central defensive options.

• West Brom are believed to have lodged a bid in the region of £8.5m for Dinamo Zagreb forward Mislav Orsic, as they look to weaken their resolve following two previous rejected bids. (Sport Witness)
• Queens Park Rangers look set to pursue a move for ex-Fulham winger Muamer Tankovic, who is currently playing his football with Hammarby IF. He’s been capped four times by Sweden. (West London Sport)
• Sheffield Wednesday are said to be chasing Hearts’ £1.5m-rated starlet defender Aaron Hickey, with the likes of Bologna and Bayern Munich also believed to be monitoring the young talent. (BBC Football)
• Leeds United have been tipped to battle the likes of Spurs and Leicester City to sign Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho, who is said to be valued at around £23m. He’s been capped on 59 occasions for Portugal. (Sport Witness)
• Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has Championship duo Eberechi Eze and Saïd Benrahma on his radar this summer. Both players are expected to make the step up to the Premier League next season whether Brentford are promoted or not. (Source: Daily Star)
• Aston Villa, Leeds United, Newcastle United and West Ham are interested in Crystal Palace and Republic of Ireland midfielder James McCarthy, 29. (90Min)
• Burnley, Everton and Brighton among clubs interested in Bournemouth’s Joshua King. A fee of between £10m and £15m would see him depart due to it being ‘unlikely’ that King will agree fresh terms with the Cherries. He has one year remaining on his current deal.
• Norwich City and Middlesbrough are amongst the clubs who have put in an enquiry for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Loic Mbe Soh. A product of the PSG academy, he has made three senior appearances for the club and is the captain of their youth side.
• Brentford are close to agreeing a fee to sign Peterborough United’s Ivan Toney according to a report from STV journalist Raman Bhardwaj.
• Speaking to the Banbury Cake, Oxford United manager Karl Robinson has confirmed talks over a new deal for Cameron Brannagan are ongoing but was unfazed by the possibility of losing him for nothing next year.
• Former Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall has admitted that a return to Parkhead would be “massive” for him. The Wigan shot-stopper could be available in a cut-price deal this summer if the Hoops are interested.
• Any club bidding to sign defender Charlie Goode would have to break Northampton’s transfer record (£500,000). Middlesbrough, QPR and Sunderland have been linked with the 6ft 5ins defender.
• Reports emerged over the weekend suggested Portsmouth were in advanced talks to bring in 29-year-old Richie Smallwood, after his release from Championship side Blackburn. This rumour has since been denied.
• Ipswich Town are planning to swoop for Richard Keogh according to a report from TWTD. The 33-year-old defender was most recently sacked after being a passenger in the car crash with Mason Bennett and Tom Lawrence.
• Reading defender Gabriel Osho has rejected the offer of a new contract at the club after being locked in talks. The 22 year old wants more game time.
• Football Insider has reported that Bolton Wanderers are eyeing a free transfer deal for former Everton youngster Gethin Jones.
• Birmingham City are keen on signing former Swansea City midfielder Tom Carroll.
• Salford City are very keen on signing goalkeeper Lee Camp who on Monday departed Birmingham.
