• Respected journalist Christian Falk has poured cold water on talk of Manchester United making a move for Dayot Upamecano.
• Leeds United have seen an £8m bid for Rangers defender Borna Barisic rejected, according to a report in Croatia. Bayern Munich, Ajax and Man City are tracking him.
• Brighton have offered €25m for Almería striker Darwin Núñez, the problem is that the player is more interested in signing for Benfica. Tottenham are ready to move for the prolific South American striker. Southampton and Sheffield United were also interested.
• Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder hopes for an “explosion” of transfer activity at Bramall Lane next week as the Premier League club intensifies its search for new signings.
• Leeds United, Newcastle United and Southampton have all contacted Liverpool about Harry Wilson, the Liverpool Echo reports.
• Wolves are said to have agreed signing of left-back Tote Gomes, 5 year deal with the Premier League club. He’ll be loaned to Grasshopper Club Zürich for the coming season.
• Even though it’s CSKA Moscow who seem to be leading the race for João Palhinha, Wolves are back being named as strong competitors for the midfielder this week. He’s willing to hold out for Wolves, who are still to make an official bid for him.
• Napoli midfielder Allan has been filmed saying goodbye to the Italian club ahead of his proposed move to Everton.
• Everton’s interest in right-back Alessandro Florenzi is ‘still alive’ – thye face Champions League competition for the signing.
• Newcastle remain interested in Odysseas Vlachodimos but Benfica want around £13m for the Greek goalkeeper. (O Jogo via Sport Witness)
• La Repubblica are a little more confident than others in the media world on a Manchester City move for Kalidou Koulibaly. The player has ‘suitcases ready’ as Mna City ‘will reach’ €70m + €5m – Napoli ‘awaits’ offer.
• Wolves have joined Everton in the race to sign 24 year old Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Lemar, according to a report from Le 10 Sport.
• Sheffield Wednesday keeping close tabs on Wolves defender Dion Sanderson. Cardiff also want the 20 year old.
• Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Stefan Savic from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
• Wales forward Gareth Bale says he would be open to a return to the Premier League – but Real Madrid are making it “difficult” for him to leave. Tottenham and Man Utd interested.
• Ruben Neves is committed to staying at Wolves after being heavily linked with clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City since touching down in England three years ago.
• Leicester City and Newcastle United are two of the clubs looking at signing Norwich City left back Jamal Lewis. Liverpool made a £10m bid which was rejected last month. Norwich value him at £20m. He is under contract until 2023.
• Fulham are looking into the possibility of signing Lyon winger Bertrand Traore.
• Sources close to Derby County have poured water on claims that the club are interested in signing Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts, suggesting the Rams aren’t looking to pursue a transfer deal. (Derby Telegraph)
• Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Fulham are interested in West Ham’s Grady Diangana, in spite of the Hammers accepting a bid from West Brom for the forward. (The Sun)
• Chelsea could be on the brink of re-signing West Ham midfielder Declan Rice. (Daily Star)
• PSG have snubbed the chance to sign Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi, who looks set for the exit door. (Daily Mirror)
• Watford may consider allowing English striker Troy Deeney, 32, out on loan this season and recall him if they win promotion back to the Premier League. (Daily Telegraph)
• Brighton & Hove Albion are among a number of clubs interested in signing Brentford left-back Rico Henry, who is valued at £7m. (Sky Sports)
• DC United have made an approach for Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain, 32, and are interested in Everton’s Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, 30.
• Istanbul Basaksehir are in talks over a loan move for Brighton left-back Bernardo, who is on the radar of West Ham and Newcastle. (Sky Sports)
• Leeds United are favourites to sign Liverpool midfielder Harry Wilson at 11/4 amid uncertainty surrounding his future at Anfield. (Sky Bet)
• Leeds look to have suffered a blow in their pursuit of £31m-rated Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul as he prefers a move to Juventus. (Messaggero Veneto)
• Brentford have asked for £28m (according to The Telegraph) to sell Ollie Watkins. Despite serious interest from Aston Villa, heavily driven by manager Dean Smith, that’s a huge outlay on a player who is, as of yet, unproven at Premier League level.
• West Ham’s Nathan Holland, whilst still recovering from injury, has a lot of interest in him from clubs for a loan or permanent deal, including Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley, QPR along with a few others Championship clubs. A decision is yet to be made however but he needs game time to prove what he can do.
• Liverpool are now the “prime favourites” to sign RB Salzburg youngster Patson Daka, according to media reports on Thursday. Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are also keen on the striker.
• West Ham will launch a bid for Brentford:s Said Benrahma with the money they recoup from the sale of Grady Diangana’s sale to West Brom according to Sky Sports. Aston Villa also keen.
• Leeds United are monitoring Swansea City youngster Ben Cabango as the Whites look to bolster their defensive ranks this summer, according to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post.
• Luton Town’s hopes of signing heavily-linked Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on loan look to have been boosted, with the club’s manager revealing he will be allowed to leave this summer. (The 72)
• Bristol City are said to be looking into the possibility of signing Liverpool’s Nathan Phillips. The 23-year-old is set to leave Anfield permanently this summer, after spending last season on loan with VfB Stuttgart. (The Athletic)
