• Liverpool. Ben Woodburn wanted by a few on loan. Charlton taking an interest. Charlton also thinking about Fulham’s Timmy Abraham on loan.
• BRISTOL ROVERS. Agreed deal for young left back Koiki at Burnley. Low sum plus big extras. Charlton also has an interest but went elsewhere.
• WEST BROM. Grant fee now just above 14m guaranteed. Should get done with HUDDERSFIELD signing a couple with spare cash.
• NORWICH. Want 25 for Cantwell. That’s keeping LEEDS at bay for now.
• Free-agent Andrew Surman is currently training with Luton Town. Left Bournemouth in the summer after playing nearly 200 matches for the Cherries since 2013.
• Wolves striker Niall Ennis is reportedly set to join Doncaster Rovers on loan before Friday’s transfer deadline. However Doncaster Free Press reporter, Liam Hoden, says that Rovers have been focusing on bringing in a midfielder and no agreement has been reached with the England youth international. Portsmouth and Oxford are still interested.
• Doncaster. Latest club to try for Robbie Gotts at Leeds. Sunderland, Hull, Huddersfield, Lincoln, Swindon and Charlton also keen.
• Derby County winger Florian Jozefzoon is in talks to join Championship rivals Rotherham United.
• Liverpool’s Harry Wilson is a loan target for a number of Championship clubs. Derby, Nottingham Forest, Cardiff and Swansea all want the winger. Burnley, Leeds, Newcastle and Aston Villa were also interested.
• Highly-rated Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen has agreed a deal to join Charlton Athletic on loan.
• Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss is in talks to join Charlton Athletic on a free transfer.
• Talks have progressed between Man City and Swansea City over Joel Latibeaudiere, who are the favourites to land the centre-back.
• Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo is set to have a medical at Fulham ahead of his move to Craven Cottage.
• Middlesbrough are still looking to make three major signings before the end of the transfer window, according to reports. Links with Chelsea’s Baba Rahman and Tottenham’s Danny Rose continue.
• Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are still said to be interested in taking David Brooks from Bournemouth ahead of the domestic transfer deadline by the Daily Mail.
• Tottenham are reportedly likely to sign Swansea centre-half Joe Rodon in a £15m deal before Friday’s EFL deadline. Football Insider claim that Spurs are ahead of all competition to sign the Welshman, and are offering a variety of deals to get it over the line.
• Leeds United have held further talks with Blackburn Rovers over a proposed deal for left back Barry Douglas who also had interest from Watford.
• QPR are stepping up their search for a centre-back ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline. The R’s want a left-sided defender and are ready to let Conor Masterson leave on loan.
• West Ham United are unlikely to make a move for Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong according to ExWHUemployee on Twitter.
• Southend youngster Charlie Kelman is set to complete a move to Championship side QPR after passing his medical on Tuesday.
• Speaking to the Peterborough Telegraph, Peterborough United’s director of football Barry Fry has confirmed the club have rejected bids for star attacker Siriki Dembele, reiterating that the club has no intention of letting him go. Nottingham Forest and Brentford are interested.
• Liam Palmer is set to fight on for his place at Sheffield Wednesday, despite reports linking him with a loan move out of Hillsborough, The Star understands.
• Speaking to the Peterborough Telegraph, Peterborough United’s director of football Barry Fry has said that the club have held talks with George Boyd over the possibility of paying up the last year of his contract.
• Tom Naylor revealed his desire to stay at Portsmouth beyond the end of his contract. But the skipper remains baffled by the implementation of the new salary cap that could well see him leave Fratton Park sooner than he’d want.
• Catlin insists Pompey remain active in seeking new additions ahead of Friday’s 5pm deadline.
• Tranmere Rovers are set to sign Newcastle United midfielder Jack Young on loan. The ECHO understands Rovers manager Michael Jackson is keen to bring in the 19-year-old who was compared to England star Lewis Cook by former Newcastle under-23 boss Neil Redfearn last year.
• According to The Athletic, Chelsea are set to face competition from Liverpool for Grimsby Town duo Louis Boyd and Ben Grist.
• Cardiff City are reportedly keen to bring Wolves’ Dion Sanderson back to the Welsh capital before Friday’s transfer deadline. Sheffield Wednesday also keen.
