Thrilling semi-final sees team comeback from 2-0 down to win 3-2 and reach FA Cup Final

Following on from Manchester City beating Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday, Watford became the second team to book a place in the FA Cup Final.

Wolves got themselves ahead 10 minutes before half time thanks to Matt Doherty who headed home at the back post after a short corner routine.

On the 62nd minute, Raul Jimenez put Wolves in control as he chested and followed the ball past Heurelho Gomes to double the deficit.

Just over 10 minutes left of the 90 and substitute Gerard Deulofeu got Watford back in the game by beautifully chipping the ball perfectly into the top corner.

The Hornets were incredibly handed a penalty in injury time after VAR checked the contact from Leander Dendoncker on Troy Deeney.

94th minute, Deeney stepped up and confidently blasted it to level the scoreline and take the semi final tie to extra time.

In the 104th minute, that man again Deulofeu found the bottom corner after Gray’s pass to seal Watford’s comeback from 2-0 down to 3-2 up within 30 or so minutes.

Watford will face Manchester City in the final at Wembley on the 18th of May.
