Three teams cause surprises in the FA Cup and those ball numbers for the Third Round Draw

It’s been another busy weekend of FA Cup action and whilst majority of it have been played out, there is still one more to settle before the replays are played on the 10th of December.

Solihull Moors will be looking to join fellow National League side AFC Fylde in the second round when they take on Rotherham United on Monday night in front of BT Sport cameras.

Moving on to shocks and whilst there were no non league sides actually beating teams from a higher division, we did see three of them hold them to a draw.

Hartlepool United were the first to do so when they came back from 2-0 down at Exeter City, with just over 20 minutes remaining, to produce a stunning comeback to level the score at 2-2 (goals by Featherstone and Kabamba).

National League North side Boston United, also away from home, held League One Rochdale to a goalless draw. Despite that result, Pilgrims manager Craig Elliott said he felt “a bit grumpy” at the result.

And lastly, National League side Eastleigh managed to also comeback from 1-0 down to draw with high flying League Two side Crewe Alexandra, thanks to a later leveller from Marcus Barnes.

Right then, those all important ball numbers, find out who is what ready for Monday’s draw which we’ll have as soon as it’s made plus the fan reaction.
