Three Premier League clubs are said to be keen on in demand 44 year old boss Arne Slot who is doing something quite extraordinary.
According to reports, London based trio Tottenham, West Ham and Crystal Palace are interested in tempting Arne Slot away from Feyenoord.
Spurs are currently looking for a new boss after parting with Antonio Conte while Patrick Vieira was axed by Crystal Palace, but have named Roy Hodgson in charge until the end of the season.

Both clubs have appointed interims, and speculation swirls about who they will hire later in the summer.
David Moyes remains West Ham’s manager, but it is possible that the Hammers are potentially looking for a new manager amid their relegation battle.
Slot is one of the options. He’s known for his outstanding work in Holland and has been linked to a few jobs with English clubs in recent years. However, he’s quickly rising in Europe’s ranks now having caught many club’s attention.
Feyenoord are top of the Eredivisie with an eight-point lead over Ajax. The Rotterdam-based outfit are now aiming to win its second domestic title in 21 years. He also led the club to the Europa Conference League finals 2022, where he lost 1-0 to Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
Slot managed the AZ Alkmaar side, which was neck-and-neck with Ajax in 2019-20 title race before it was cancelled by the Covid pandemic.
If Tottenham decides to hire an attack-focused manager, it is possible that he will be popular among fans.
He prefers to play a 4-2-2-3-1 but can switch to a 43-2-3-3. Full-backs are more inclined to overlap wingers to provide crosses. There are strong similarities between the coaching style and the playing style he demands from Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, and Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi.
This is exactly what happened at Feyenoord when Slot took control…
– Steven Berghuis, top scorer with 18 goals, was sold to Ajax, for 6.5 million Euros
– Used 4.5 million euros to buy Gernot Trauner, Marcus Pedersen and Fredrik Aursnes, who all improved the squad
– Feyenoord came third in the previous season, and finished fifth the year prior
– He completely overhauled the club’s defensive play style. This was what the club and players wanted
– He is well-known for his intense pressing game, in which Feyenoord goes man-for-man against their opponents on the pitch. His motivation to join was that he could show the world that players can change instead of you can only work with what you have
– Slot presented videos from the 2021 Champions League final between Chelsea & Manchester City to his first team meeting. He asked why there were so few chances, despite that there were so many attacking players. His answer… because attackers made defensive runs in order to defeat their opponents
– Slot compared that to the amount of running Feyenoord did the previous season and compared the distance – much less – with his AZ side.
– His strategy was simple, his teams attacked to defend
– Slot believes that playing defensive football is more exhausting and less fun for players. They can’t improve by thinking primarily about defending
– Slot bombarded players with stats, videos and more intense training sessions where every minute was accounted for, something Bielsa was known for at Leeds
– Man City and Napoli are reference points to this train-the-way-you-play approach
– Building an exciting team with a tight budget

The last summer, more changes were made were…
Selling of 70 million euro worth of players led by Tyrell Malacia, and Luis Sinisterra
– He lost seven players from his starting XI, as well as three loanees, including Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson
– 17 players with only 30 million euros spent on one transfer window Feyenoord not only made a substantial profit, but also had a much better team. Quinten Timber, a midfielder, and David Hancko were both purchased for 6.5 million Euros each. This means that only 17 million euros was spent on 15 people
– Feyenoord’s highest-paid player earns 1.5million euros on a budget of only 22 million euros. This is less than one-third of Ajax’s top earners
Slot’s team is one of Europe’s most exciting, with a 40 million euro transfer surplus
– Players like Mats Wieffer, a 23-year-old central midfielder, and Lutsharel Geertruida (right-back), were both called up to the latest Dutch squad
– Orkun Kokcu is now one of the top Eredivisie midfielders and will be highly sought after by Premier League clubs next summer
Tottenham fans reacted at reports three Premier League clubs are keen on the in demand 44 year old boss who doing something quite extraordinary…
@SpursBird_: I want him over nagelsmann
@smileberg: We could do worse
@Adamjmargo: Yes. Every time we go for an established big name it has ended in tears. Our best appointments have been underwhelming named managers like Martin jol and Mauricio Pochettino so I’m all for it
@Speedytids: Yes, he’s able to work with small budgets… that’s us. He works well with young squads. And he has shown that he wants to come to spurs. Slot has a 13million contract buyout but Nagelsman has a clause where we have to pay Bayern money too.
@JasonSm45676431: Well, I would think he would Slot right in ☺️☺️
@80sHotspur: Prefer Poch or Nagelsmann, then Gallardo or Kompany before Slot. Always nervous of players / managers from that league. Get the odd hit but mainly misses.
@TTIDTHFC: Nagelsmann, then Poch. But I’ll take Slot for sure if it meant NO to potter or rodgers.
@Thfcfanopinions: We will regret not going for him 🤷♂️
@DtCoys1: I’ve been converted get him in
Arne Slot would be our best bet as a manager, especially with the likes of pound shop levy about. He’s great with small budgets. Great with youth players and loves attacking football. He’s a cross between Pep/Jol/Poch pic.twitter.com/3UV0SVYIj1

Yes, call it irrational but I’m not that keen on Nagelsmann and Enrique after seeing them twerk for the Chelsea job and distancing themselves from us(understandably so). I want someone who wants to build a dynasty here. Slot is a terrific manager https://t.co/U6zwrVpXVq
