‘They having a laugh?!’ – Leeds fans slam EFL’s ‘ridiculous’ tweet

Leeds United fans have took to slam the English Football League after they announced who features in their Team of the Week.

The Whites couldn’t break the deadlock until the 51st minute when Patrick Bamford scored for a second match in a row – his previous coming against Blackburn when he finally managed to end his goalless run stretching back to 10 games.

Luton got themselves quickly back in the game three minutes later thanks to James Collins’ powerful header from Izzy Brown’s right-wing cross.

Just when the Hatters thought they had come away with an impressive draw, Matt Pearson put Mateusz Klich’s cross into his own net following a touch from Patrick Bamford to seal the win in the 90th minute.

Luton goalkeeper James Shea was listed on EFL’s Team of the Weekend after he made countless amount of saves and made decent stops to deny Bamford and Tyler Roberts, but the Leeds fans were reeling that the shot stopper was selected and not goalscorer Bamford.

Just they wait until they see WhoScored’s version for the Championship, as it included not a single Leeds player.
