This is how the Premier League table based on PPG would look with it being touted as one potential way to finish the 2019/20 season.
Details are beginning to emerge from a UEFA meeting and one of them is coefficient rankings could be used to decide finishing positions for the European places.
But, the governing bodies own rules state that qualification must be decided on ‘sporting merit’ – which means that scenario cannot be used and sounds like a points per game system.
There are 92 league fixtures still to be played and now that Euro 2020 has been rescheduled to next year, it makes space complete domestic campaigns in the summer.
However, there are still questions over what might happen if the Premier League season cannot be completed.
The National League chose to cancel all remaining fixtures, and now a vote is expected to determine if clubs go up or down.
