Surprise managerial claims emerge regarding Rotherham, Derby and Huddersfield, leaving everyone rather perplexed truth be told.
It was reported that Paul Warne’s six year reign as Millers boss could be about to come to an end, especially as he features as second favourite for the job at Huddersfield.
That is according to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook on Wednesday afternoon, Rotherham Advertiser’s Paul David claims Warne to Huddersfield doesn’t look likely.
Meanwhile, Mike McGrath writes: “Rotherham manager Paul Warne will be among the contenders for the Derby County job should there be a change. Liam Rosenior has been interim manager of League One club since the summer.”
Paul Davis said in light of speculation: “Seen the #rufc boss Warne to Huddersfield rumours. Doesn’t tie in with what I’ve heard so far. No contact as recently as yesterday. I see the Huddersfield paper is saying the same as me. Calls are in.”
John Percy claimed: “Liam Rosenior is no longer the interim manager of Derby, following talks with the board on Tuesday night, but remains on the coaching staff. Derby to make official approach for Rotherham’s Paul Warne, who is the No 1 choice to become permanent manager”
Tom Collomosse said: “Understand Liam Rosenior relieved of his duties as interim manager of #dcfc though still employed by the club. Derby looking for permanent No1 – Paul Warne a strong contender”
BREAKING 🚨: Liam Rosenior has been relieved of his role as interim manager of Derby County, but will remain on the coaching staff at Pride Park.

Crook claims he has heard suggestions that the 49-year-old could soon be departing the New York Stadium, as he features ‘prominently’ on the list of potential Huddersfield Town managers.
During Warne’s tenure, his side have experienced plenty of highs and lows, being relegated three times, and earned three promotions since he took over in November 2016.
Last season, Warne achieved the third of those promotions, finishing runners-up in League One to Wigan Athletic and are holding their own in the Championship so far again this term sitting 8th with 14 points from 9 games played.

This is what fans said a surprise managerial claims emerge regarding Rotherham, Derby and Huddersfield…
@ThebezJeff: I hope the Paul Warne rumours are true cos if he leaves they defo go down. #pleasebetrue
@nathanhorobinn: finish work, come in twitter and the first thing i see is ‘Paul Warne amongst contenders for the Derby County job’ 😳
@TheJosephKirk: Paul Warne in with Liam Rosenior as assistant would be unreal
@Jack_Nattress: I’m sceptical that we’ll sign Paul Warne. To me it does seem like a backwards step, and arguing that “bigger club” status means something is super hypocritical with our whole “underdog” identity. Although, if we do pull it off, the away game next month will be very spicy. #htafc
@Barxthethird: That’s not the move I’d have him down for at all. Huddersfield 😳😳
@C_Wak84: He should wait for the Sheffield Wednesday job if he has ambitions of stepping up a level.
@Millers1964: Why would he go to Huddersfield 😏 please behave.
@HTAFC_Dec: Why would he go to Derby 😭😭
@dylan68743085: Now seeing everyone after Stewart’s head and sticking 2 fingers up to warne for leaving. We’re a weird bunch of fans, I’d rather have a top bloke as chairman than some Saudi owners who know nowt about football. If warne wants to leave, let him go. He deserves a chance #rufc
@__IrufcI__: Can’t help but think this is down to him not getting backed in the summer window and now we aren’t offering key players like Barlaser and Ogbene good money to stay. If we lose Warne then we end up losing them, as much as I love him Stewart’s time is up. #RUFC
@kevjohnson77: It would be a sad day but one that would always come. IF its true then Hudds is a good job for Warne, double his money and 3 year deal and doesn’t have to move, would leave a legend. If its not thank fuck lol. #rufc
@milldogs4: after start we’ve had 🤦🏻♂️ i feel sick
@smith98_josh: Get Stewart gone asap. Blokes let warne down massively year after year. Hopefully fans start to see he’s not the saviour people make out. #rufc
@smith98_josh: Get Stewart gone asap. Blokes let warne down massively year after year. Hopefully fans start to see he’s not the saviour people make out. #rufc
@StevenChicken: Can’t speak for the Rotherham side of things but I wouldn’t bank on this having anything to do with Huddersfield Town – doesn’t fit the criteria Leigh Bromby outlined at the weekend #htafc
@TheRamalyst: Now this is something I could get behind. If we can keep Liam on in an assistant role and bring Paul Warne in that would be a great move. However, find it hard to believe Warne or other wouldn’t want to bring his own team in?? #dcfc #dcfcfans
@carolyn005x: Surprised that Rosenior isn’t the interim manager anymore – thought he would’ve been given some more time after our win on Saturday #dcfc
@Alex_Lipniski: Rosenior been absolutely scammed there. We haven’t made a bad start to the season so not sure why we did that. Assuming Clowes has wanted his own man and waited for the early season dust to settle. #dcfc
@Guardthebee: Maybe Clowes and Rosenior had always planned for it just to be interim? Doesn’t make much sense otherwise. For what it’s worth I’d love Rosenior to stay on, will be a valuable coach #dcfc #dcfcfans
@harrypdean: Gutted for Liam, who I believe has done a great job with recruitment and, with a little bit of tinkering, genuinely believe his football would have got us up and there abouts. Not turning my nose up at Paul Warne though, could be a masterstroke from Mr. Clowes. #DCFC
@cjsaunders11: Rosenior is one of the main reason players stayed and joined #dcfc kick in the teeth to him and will be interested to see how players react that are here coz of him.
@LionelGalant: What the fuck is going on? #DCFC
@ironicderby: Wtf completely don’t agree with this decision at all. We were playing good football and we were developing players. Absolutely fuming. #dcfc #dcfcfans
@alexnevans: Interesting TS coming for pelters, how many times could have TS justifiably sacked Warne and instead stayed loyal sticking with him, if he leaves the first chance Warne gets he jumps ship, where’s the loyalty there? 👀 #rufc
@alwrufc: If he leaves which is looking likely the next man has to be a similar type of manager. Has to have the human factor and emotional intelligence, can’t have a complete departure from that type of manager or the players will switch off #rufc
@WillDanielsRUFC: Don’t blame Warney one bit. The bloke has been pissing against the wind for a number of years. So many broken promises. He leaves the club in a much better place than he found it, his teams providing some of the best moments of my life. This is a catastrophic blow. #rufc
@craigthemiller: Tony Stewart you are a joke of a chairman !! Don’t put any money in and let our manager leave #rufc let’s hope for another Kenny jackett or Alan Stubbs !!!!!
@Shivutd4: Paul Warne should stay at Rotherham. They’ve had an excellent start and could achieve their best ever finish in the championship
@andrew_mchale1: Don’t want Warne to leave one bit, however if he does then we move on. The two clubs he’s linked with are bigger than we ar. He’s been superb for us. We lost our ‘two best players’ to league one and we’ve improved since this summer #utm #rufc #millers
