Sunderland’s Wilson Isidor and Noah Sadiki left in stitches after fan’s dig at Alexander Isak

Sunderland’s Wilson Isidor and Noah Sadiki were left in absolute stitches after a fan’s dig at former Newcastle player Alexander Isak.

During a fan talent show ahead of the Tyne-Wear derby in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, a Sunderland supporter and comedian named Dan spoke of a story about how he needed a heart transplant due to the stress of supporting the club for 30+ years.

He lifted up his top and showed a chest scar and ended with the punchline: “My heart stopped working… like Alexander Isak this summer.

Since his move from Newcastle, Isak has scored only 2 goals in 14 appearances since his £125million move (British-record fee) to Liverpool. Back in September, manager Arne Slot blamed his lack of match fitness following the long saga surrounding his future at Newcastle, before his departure.

Dan the fan said: “I’ve been supporting Sunderland for over 30 years, and as you probably know, it’s been very up and down. We’ve had a lot of tough times.

“To show the stress it puts on you, look at this scar on my chest – it’s from a heart transplant, I had an operation about five years ago.

“My heart stopped working, like Alexander Isak this summer.”

Sadiki: “it’s not possible” in French, with Isidor bursting into laugher.

Presenter Adam Smith: “Wow, oh my God.”

Isidor tried to compose himself, before then lifting his head from the table, looked behind him at the Sadiki, and said: “It’s not funny, man, he had a heart attack.”

Sadiki replied: “I don’t know,” when he was asked by the host why he was laughing.

Dan the fan admitted: “It’s okay, it’s the reaction I wanted. You laugh as much as you want.

“It’s not only on the body that the stress of supporting Sunderland for over 30 years takes its toll. As you can see, the hairline as well.

“30-plus years of being a Sunderland fan, you’ll see that there’s a lot of Sunderland fans that have this hairstyle after all the years supporting.”

The clip went viral on Twitter, getting millions of views and thousands of likes. There was plenty of fanns reaction with Sunderland’s Wilson Isidor and Noah Sadiki left in stitches after a fan’s dig at Alexander Isak…

@daverobsonbeck: Don’t even care that it’s derby week. That is hilarious 😂

@nicholaswilso11: Takes a special kind of person to cause there to be no arguments over it from either side in derby week 🤣🤣

@iamdangeth: That is a fucking belter and a half.

@WTFSunlunPod: Jesus, @IsidorWilson’s laugh has me floored 😅

@BrownSlices: Thats so mad for Isak hahaha how are you uniting the north east on this week of all weeks

@bennufc_18: Isak is that embarrassing he’s got me laughing at Sunderland fans on the week of the derby, shameless guy.

@kieraandixon: Fuck sake, laughing with Sunderland fans here 😭🤣

@rob_jewitt: Ah, that’d my mackem mate, Dan Ward. He was once voted Sunderland’s Most Stylish Man. And he won £30k on The Chase.

@MattSafc73: Never seen anything that brought the two fanbases together as much as this 😂

@RachaelThex91: How has one Mackem and Isadors reaction managed to unite the region for a little giggle a mere 4 days before the derby man? C’EST PAS POSSIBLE 😂😂😂 (which in northeast terms is kinda like “ne fucking way he just said that.”)

@mc_chug: Holy shit the mackems have a sense of humour this is hilarious 😂😂😂 #NUFC

@Andy__SAFC: How this week of all fucking weeks has the north east been united by a Isak joke 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@OfficielKaybaye: So much going on here. His accent clipping talking to the players. Isidor’s disbelief at his joke about Isak and then laughing his tits off at him having had a heart attack. Actually class 😂

@Fantanafest73: The fact both sets of fans can have a laugh at this days before the biggest derby in the world show us what football is really all about. 🤣😉👌🏻

@RoperAJ95: Genuinely sensational work to have the Tyne wear divide come together like this on derby week. Someone give this man the Nobel peace prize

@scamifism: Wilson has me in absolute bits I love that bloke

@Capsbrodie: I love how it’s presented as a “we hate Newcastle United” roast but every NUFC supporter would agree with what he said

@SAFC_Luke_2703: Isak uniting the North East by being shite on this week of all weeks is mental 😭

@NENufcfan: Not going to lie it’s funny because it’s true! 🖤🤍

@niall_quinn_: If I don’t see a Cest pas possible flag at the stadium of light by the end of the season you’ve all failed miserably as football fans

@kendallrowanx: I actually want to shake this blokes hand

@bensprattjourn: A heartwarming clip to unify the region in derby week…

@Capt_Fishpaste: Protect @IsidorWilson at all costs. Il est merveilleux! ❤️ #SAFC
