A new mock ‘Sports Direct’ shop, which has popped up in Sunderland, appears to mocked Newcastle United supporters.
The rather cheap looking shop sign says ‘POP UP SHOP FOR SAD NEWCASTLE UNITED FANS TO YELL AND SCREAM AT’ with the website address ‘www.6inarow/horsepunchers/scum.com’.

The writing on the sign is in reference to the Magpies fans’ recent protest against owner Mike Ashley.
The website address mentions Sunderland’s six derby wins against the Premier League side between 2013 and 2015.

It also talks about the time one Newcastle fan punched a police horse after Sunderland beat them nearly six years ago.
It is not known who put up the shop sign, and it was said to be closed this morning when the Echo visited.
