Aldershot magistrates heard the 33-year-old was caught while driving his £120,000 car along the M27.
He did not appear in person at the court under the Single Justice Procedure guidelines, but did admit to speeding.
His speeding offence took place on the 20th of October last year, a day after Southampton picked up a draw away at Wolves in the Premier League and five days before they were thrashed 9-0 by Leicester at St Mary’s.
As well as being handed six points on his driving licence and pay a fine of £440, he has also been given a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £85.
