It has been revealed recently that Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler was punched by a football fan during a match earlier this week.
The unprovoked attack took place during Wealdstone’s clash with Woking in the National League South on Monday night.
Tyler, who is a lifelong Cards supporter, is coaching the club for free in his spare time and was in the dugout at the time of the incident.

He said to The Sun: “It was a minor incident but it was still unexpected and I’m disappointed.
“It was a bit of an affront and people should know better.
“I’m sure Wealdstone will deal with the offender.”
After a 85th minute penalty, the supporter was said to have lent over the advertising hoarding and punched Tyler.
On Tuesday, Wealdstone confirmed in a club statement the matter was being investigated.
“We will be conducting an investigation into an alleged incident to establish the facts and we will work in conjunction with our stewarding company colleagues in that regard,” the statement read.
“We can make no further comment at present.”
