He said: “We have no desire for voiding the season, points per game scenarios or letting a computer decide our footballing fate.
“For our fans/staff and for the integrity of our sport, we are all looking forward to completing our pending fixtures/season under guidance from the EFL at a time it is deemed safe to do so.”
Fleetwood chairman Andy Pilley said: “We are backing the completion of League One fixtures.
“Sporting integrity is of paramount importance, we cannot accept points per game or any other conclusion without giving it our best shot in a safe environment.
“Germany, Premier League, Championship and many more are completing and so should we.”

Simples,if they play they have to unfurlough all their staff with little money coming in and here’s the main problem.Should they start,& play the first game & one of the players tests positive just after then 2 teams can’t play for the next 2 weeks. Season done surely

I personally would. Only FAIR way to conclude the season is on the pitch. Every club should have the same opportunities.

I’d love to get the season finished but the reality is most clubs cant afford to pay their players and play games behind closed doors. This pig-headed, do what’s best for you attitude will likely see clubs die.

The season should finish when ALL teams have played each other H & A no matter how long it takes. What is the rush? Delay the start of next season and cancel ALL Cup competitions for next campaign only. The top 2 & play off winner DESERVEDLY go up etc.

Everyone wants every league finished. It’s just where we go for next season and the one after with euros World Cup etc

I want the season to resume on the pitch so we can extend our lead at the top of League 1.
